ArabiaWeather.com - Not an ordinary car that's for sure, but an effective means of transportation the size of a laptop that can transport an adult at a reasonable speed, it is the WalkCar, the new Japanese invention.

Young engineer Kuniako Sato with an engineering team from Cocoa Motors has developed the new mode of transportation that looks more like a skateboard than a familiar car.

This “car” gets energy from a lithium battery and its body is made of hardened aluminum capable of carrying a person weighing up to 120 kilograms, while the “car” itself weighs no more than 3 kilograms, which makes it like a laptop that can be carried in a backpack.

This “car” travels at speeds of up to 10 kilometers per hour for a distance of up to 12 kilometers on a single charge of only 3 hours.

The inventor of this means of transportation describes that driving it is very easy, as it is enough to climb on it until it starts moving, and you can get off it until it stops, and also by changing the weight of the driver, it changes its direction. Most importantly, you don't need to find a place to park it because you can carry it on your back.

Your copy of this efficient little car can be pre-ordered starting this fall via Kickstarter, where it is running a crowdfunding campaign, and will start shipping to customers next spring at a price of $800.
